Bet on the NFL The Jets have been looking good the past couple weeks, and are ready to host Houston this Sunday in Week 11. Matt Shaub and the Houston Texans once feared aerial attack has disappeared but running back Arian Foster has picked up some of the slack.

It has not been the fact that number one wide receiver Andre Johnson has been hurt or that key inside receiver Owen Daniels has suffered through assorted ailments as he tries to recover from off season knee injury. The real issue looks like the new found running game has thrown the rest of the offense off kilter.


The New York Jets defense has been devastating all season long. It is a good thing they have been since the offense has been inconsistent throughout the season. The defense as been keeping opposing NFL running offenses under 90 yards per game and they are also playing well against the pass also. The New York Jets defense is only giving up less than 220 yards per game through the air. The New York Jets defense has the edge over the Houston Texans offense.

Sportsbook lists the Texans as the minus 7 point favorites, with the total over under at 45.5.

The Houston Texans defense is still not a strong suit. The team is giving up an incredible 298 yards passing per game and they cannot stop the bleeding. The New York Jets have two game breaking receivers in Brad Smith and Santonio Holmes.


Braylon Edwards can be a factor when he wants to be but he is still plagued by dropped balls. The New York Jets running game is now taking shape with Shonn Greene moving into the number one running back role and the running game is averaging almost 150 yards per game on the ground.
