Bet on the NFLThe Houston Texans travel to the Mardi Gras City on Saturday in what will be their third preseason test to face the New Orleans Saints appearing in their fourth such contest. The first kickoff is scheduled for 8:00ET in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. You can view all the action nationally on CBS Television.

Houston (2-0) will match it's number two ranked preseason defense against the perennial offensive juggernaut Saints. The Texans "D" has allowed an average of just 208 yards per game while recording 10 total sacks in its first 2 exhibition games. The defense stood tall in a 17-9 win versus the Forty Niners last week. The Texans will be missing a couple of D-liners with both J.J. Watt and Shaun Cody not suiting up on Saturday.

Expect New Orleans (1-2) to have Drew Brees and their offensive starters on the field for a minimum of 2 quarters. Brees played well last week in a 27-24 losing effort against the Jaguars. It was a costly loss in that the Saints lost 3 linebackers to injury. Their offense will be short handed as well without RB Darren Sproles. Receivers Adrian Arrington and Nick Toon both out as well.

In last year's regular season meeting between these teams, defense was nowhere to be found in the Saints 40-33 triumph. In their three regular season meetings since 2001, the Saints have beaten the Texans twice, while Texas has come out on top once.

New Orleans is a 3 point home favorite in Bet Royal odds at a -$115. The Saints are 1-1 ATS as the favorite and as the home favorite. The Texans are 1-0 ATS as the away underdog. The under/over of 44.5 total points is available at -$110.
