Bet on the NFL  The Carolina Panthers host the Arizona Cardinals this weekend. The Arizona Cardinals travel to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers December 19th. Both teams have been on a downhill slide and both the Carolina Panthers and the Arizona Cardinals have struggled with their quarterback spot this season.  Jay Feely is the talk of Phoenix after destroying the uninspired Denver Broncos practically by himself. The spirited win by the Arizona Cardinals set the tone more for the Denver Broncos than the Cardinals. This game against the Carolina Panthers could be a jolt of reality for Arizona  Offensive is a great word for the Arizona Cardinals offense. They have been offensive to say the least. As this team stumbles their way to the finish line of the 2010 NFL betting season they are in a shambles. The quarterback situation of this team has been the focal point all season.

Ken Whisenhunt has had difficulty choosing between error prone Derek Anderson and young Max Hall. The running game has gone away and Larry Fitzgerald has been rendered useless. The fall from grace has been meteoric for the Arizona Cardinals offense.

Sports betting fans should take note that the defense has been a strong suit of the Carolina Panthers.

They have been strong against the pass only allowing just over 200 yards per game. The run is where the Carolina Panthers can be considered vulnerable. They are giving up an average of just over 130 yards per game on the ground and conditioning at the end of games may be one of the contributing factors. The Carolina Panthers defense has the edge over the Arizona Cardinals offense.  The Arizona Cardinals defense may be just as offensive as the rest of the teams categories. The Arizona Cardinals are giving up 250 yards per game through the air to opposing quarterbacks and and they are struggling to stop any team with a decent quarterback.

Against the run the defense is getting blown off the ball also. They are allowing almost 150 yards per game on the ground. The loss of Karlos Dansby and acquisition of Joey Porter has not been a plus for this team.  The Carolina Panthers offense is a shell of what it once was at the start of the season. Jonathan Stewart is back in the line up for Carolina and he showed signs of life in their game against the Atlanta Falcons. Also missing is a quarterback with any experience.

The Matt Moore experiment has been a failure and Jimmy Clausen is not ready yet. Steve Smith may be in the twilight of his career and he is going out on a sour note. The Carolina Panthers offense and the Arizona Cardinals defense are a wash.
