Bet on the NFLIt's So Cal versus No Cal as the San Diego Chargers travel north in the Golden State and meet the San Francisco 49'ers on Thursday to conclude the preseason. The first kickoff in Candlestick Park is scheduled for 10:00 ET.

San Diego (3-0) barely remained unbeaten in this seasons exhibition affairs as they squeaked out a 12-10 win over Minnesota last week. They managed just 4 field goals. However, this was not a great surprise considering QB Philip Rivers and TE Antonio Gates were held out of action. Rivers is probable against the Niners, but RB Ryan Matthews is out. Half of the Chargers offensive line is also hurting, so expect to see the San Fran "D" get after whoever the Charger QB is in this one.

San Francisco (2-1) beat Peyton Manning and the Broncos last week in another game that featured a placekicker for the Niners. David Akers booted 5 field goals in the San Francisco 29-24 victory. Brandon Jacobs sat this one out with a bad knee and WR Ted Ginn Jr. injured an ankle during the contest. Neither is expected to play Thursday.
