Bet on NCAAFThe Texas A&M Aggies and West Virginia Mountaineers both did not have anything exciting going for them this year as they both went 7-5. They will be heading to Memphis on Monday to compete in the Liberty Bowl.

Texas A&M had a strong start to the season as the Aggies almost doubled up South Carolina and won their first five games of the year. The Aggies also upset Auburn on the road. However, a 3-5 record in the SEC with consecutive losses to Mississippi State, Mississippi and Alabama hurt their run for a bigger bowl game.

Kyle Allen has been playing at the quarterback spot for the Aggies since Kenny Hill's injury. Allen has almost as many interceptions in his short time as Hill did for much of the season and is only getting 6.55 yards per attempt versus Hill's 8.25. Also, Josh Reynolds has twelve receiving touchdowns for the Aggies.

West Virginia has also had its own series of struggles this year. Although the Mountaineers had an upset win against Baylor this year, the team lost to the other four nationally ranked teams that it faced. The Mountaineers also had a three-game losing streak until they beat Iowa State to end the season by a touchdown.

Clint Trickett is not going to be playing at the quarterback position as he has announced that he is retiring from the sport. Trickett had suffered from many concussions during his career. He particularly have five in the last fourteen moths.

Skyler Howard is going to start for the Mountaineers at quarterback. He has 483 passing yards and five touchdowns in the two games that he has played in. Kevin White and Mario Alford are expected to be prominent from a receiving standpoint as they have combined for 19 of the 23 receiving touchdowns for the Mountaineers this year.

The Aggies are hoping to get their third straight bowl victory this year while the Mountaineers are looking forward to getting back into a bowl game after missing out last year. The Mountaineers have been listed as -3.5 favorites in most sportsbooks.
