Bet on NCAAFUsually when two different streaks of Tigers face off, you might expect quite a battle to occur. However, when the Towson Tigers enter the lair of the LSU Tigers, methinks, not so much. This "battle" will occur in Baton Rouge's Tiger Stadium beginning at 7:00 PM ET Saturday night and will be available for viewing nationally on ESPNU.

Its national broadcast is the main reason we're covering it here today, since it is not being lined by the sportsbook oddsmakers.

Have you ever heard of the Colonial Athletic Association? Me either, but that's where Towson resides with an overall 2-1 mark and a perfect 1-0 record in the conference after beating poor St. Francis (Pa.) 46-17 last week. For what it's worth, Towson accumulated 441 total yards of offense to 233 for the Red Flash (yes, that is the St. Francis moniker).

LSU (4-0) dropped from 2 to 3 in the NCAA rankings after struggling against Auburn and eventually emerging with a 12-10 victory. Click here to read our preview for that college football game. First year QB Zach Mettenberger should find it easier to throw this week against Towson than he did against yet another group of Tigers from Auburn.

Towson's only chance here and it's a mighty slim one, is for LSU to be looking ahead to it's 3 games in October versus Florida, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

Even the oddsmakers are staying away from this one as it is currently "off the board" on Betroyal and other online sportsbook sites.
