Bet on the NBAThe NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals continue tonight with the venue switching from South Beach to Speedway City as the Miami Heat square off against the Indiana Pacers. The opening tip off in Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis is scheduled for 7:00ET and the game can be seen nationally as the first half of a TNT Thursday night doubleheader, followed by game two of the Clippers at Spurs.

Tonights affair is game three of this series which got alot more interesting when Indiana emerged victorious in Miami on Tuesday 78-75. Miami is not used to losing to Eastern Conference foes at home, as evidenced by their 13 consecutive wins leading up to Tuesdays contest.

Now it's up to Indiana to see if they can maintain the defensive intensity they showed in that game. The Pacers did not allow the Heat to score during the final 2:41 of the game. They were 0-7 on their last seven shots.

Lebron James had a game best 28 points but missed two crucial free throws with under a minute left in the game, adding to his reputation as not being able to "close" tight contests. Dwayne Wade contributed 24 points, but no one else on Miami was able to do much else, as the rest of the team went 9-34 from the floor.

It is obvious the Heat miss the third member of its championship triumphirate with Chris Bosh out of the NBA betting for the playoffs nursing an abdominal strain. Bosh status for tonights game is questionable at best. In the meantime, it will be up to King James and D. Wade as to whether or not they can continue their torrid offensive effort.

On Tuesday, they took a combined 44 shots, hitting on 18 of them, but appeared sluggish in the end. David West came up big for the Pacers with 16 points and 10 boards.
