Bet on the NBAThis NBA Eastern Conference semifinal series continues tonight as the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics meet for game four. The game at Wells Fargo Center in the City of Brotherly Love is scheduled to begin at 8:00ET and can be seen nationally on ESPN as the first half of a Friday night doubleheader followed by the Thunder at Lakers game three.

After two one point contests in the first pair played between these two teams it looked like it would be a very competitive series and that may still prove to be the case. However, Boston took back home court advantage and looked to take command over Philly on Tuesday night, in an impressive 107-91 game three victory.

In game one the Sixers may have still been riding the high of eliminating the top seeded Chicago Bulls in six games of the first round. Most believe the absence of Derrick Rose for Chicago after game one and subsequently losing center Joakim Noah were the main reasons for that occurence, but Philadelphia nevertheless advanced to face Boston. They fought hard in the opener, only to ultimately drop the decision 92-91.

But give then credit for rebounding, literally and figuratively in game two, as they grabbed 47 boards to the Celtics 36 and emerged with an 82-81 win and at least temporarily stealing home court from the Boston.

Game three showed some seperation between the talent on these two rosters. Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett combined for 25 rebounds themselves to go along with Garnett's 27 points and Pierce's 24. Rajon Rondo was his usual solid self with 23 points, 14 assists and 6 rebounds. Mickael Pietrus came off the bench to score 13 points and Brandon Bass added 10 for the Celtics.

Thaddeus Young had 22 points and Jrue Holiday 15 for the losers. The Sixers had won all three postseason home affairs prior to this one. See here for links to all our sports betting odds and news. Philadelphia is a slim 2 point home favorite, if you are willing to lay $110 to win $100. Another wager of $110 will be required to bet the over / under of 174.
