Bet on the UFCUFC 102 will have a Mixed Martial Arts Main Card from the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon that is one of the most exciting of all time. UFC 102 will feature a heavyweight bout of champions along with 4 more Mixed Martial Arts bouts that look to be even and highly competitive.
The UFC 102 feature bout is between heavyweights Randy “The Natural” Couture of the United States and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira of Brazil. Couture is a former heavyweight and light heavyweight champion while Nogueira is the interim heavyweight champion and a former PRIDE heavyweight Mixed Martial Arts champ. Couture is 16-9 for his career while Nogueira is 31-5-1.
The other UFC 102 feature bout is from the light heavyweight division between Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine of the United States and Thiago Silva of Brazil. Jardine has notable wins over former UFC light heavyweight champions Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin to pad an impressive UFC 102 resume. He has a career record of 14-5. Silva enters UFC 102 with a career record of 13-1 but is coming off a loss to fellow Brazilian Lyoto Machida on January 31.
In another UFC 102 feature bout Chris “The Crippler” Leben will take on Jake Rosholt in middleweight action between two Americans. Leben is 18-5 for his career and is coming of a loss to Michael Bisping on October 18, 2008. He tested positive for steroids after the fight and had earlier that year been arrested for DUI. Rosholt is 5-1 and enters UFC 102 having come off a loss to Dan Miller on February 7.
In middleweight action Nate “The Great” Marquardt of the United States will take on Demian Maia of Brazil. Marquardt enters UFC 102 with 2 straight wins and a career mark of 28-8. Maia is 10-0 in his career and has won a total of 4 “Submission of the Night” honors.
The other feature bout is also from the light heavyweight class as Brandon “The Truth” Vera of the United States takes on Krzysztof “The Polish Experiment” Soszynski of Poland. Vera is 10-3 in his career while “The Polish Experiment” is 19-9-1.
