UFC 100 will feature two championship bouts for the biggest UFC betting event of all time as the heavyweight and the welterweight titles will be on the line. UFC 100 fans will have the heavyweight UFC betting matchup of defending champion Brock Lesnar going up against challenger Frank Mir in a highly anticipated grudge match.
The welterweight UFC 100 championship bout is between defending champion Georges “Rush” St-Pierre and challenger Thiago “Pit Bull” Alves. Appropriately enough this epic UFC betting event will be taking place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
UFC 100 is not just limited to those two championship bouts, however, as the rest of the card has plenty of offers as well. Dan “Hendo” Henderson and Michael “The Count” Bisping will meet in a critical middleweight showdown at UFC 100.
John Fitch will take on Paulo Thiago in another important UFC 100 matchup as Thiago is undefeated entering the bout. Both weigh 170 pounds.
Also on the UFC 100 card is Yoshiro Akiyama against Alan “The Talent” Belcher in a matchup of 185 pound fighters. Akiyama has only one loss in his career entering UFC 100 action.
In a UFC 100 matchup of 205 pound fighters Mark “The Hammer” Coleman will take on Stephan “American Psycho” Bonnar.
Mac Danzig will fight Jim Miller in the 155 pound class, Jon “Bones” Jones will meet Jake “Irish” O’Brien in the 205 pound class, Dong “Stun Gun” Hyun Kim will face off against TJ Grant in the 170 pound class, CB “The Doberman” Dollaway will square off against Tom “Filthy” Lawlor in the 185 pound class and Matt “The Real One” Grice will take on Shannon Gugerty in the 155 pound class to round out the card.
“Stun Gun” Hyun Kim is another undefeated fighter, along with “Bones” Jones.
With a card like this and with so much at stake a lot more action is expected for this UFC event than in the past. The fact that two championships are on the line and the names on the card will serve as a huge draw!
