NHL Playoffs odds for Sunday will be posted for one of the oldest, hottest, and most intense sports betting rivalries that can be found anywhere as the Red Wings and Blackhawks meet in game 4. NHL Playoffs odds may have favored the Detroit Red Wings in this sports betting series but Chicago is tough at home and will have a loud and packed house to play in for this one.
Incredibly enough despite making the western conference finals neither of these teams has shown a profit against the NHL Playoffs odds. Detroit is a similar sports betting commodity to the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Lakers in that they are the most popular team for the public to take against the NHL Playoffs odds. This translates into higher prices against the NHL Playoffs odds and very expensive losses when they are beaten on the ice. Detroit is a classic example of a team that will force gamblers to make consistent overlays against the NHL Playoffs odds.
Chicago’s popularity has also increased on the NHL Playoffs odds board and that has also made them a more expensive commodity to wager with and the main reason why they are not in the black against the NHL Playoffs odds.
Detroit is one of the best balanced teams against the NHL Playoffs odds as they ranked 1st overall in playoff team scoring and 2nd overall in team playoff defense. The Red Wings also have the 3rd best power play in the NHL post season.
Chicago is right behind Detroit as the 2nd best offensive team in the NHL post season and they have the league’s top ranked power play in the playoffs. Defense is where the Blackhawks fall short against Detroit as they ranked only 13th on the NHL stat charts for post season goals against average.
The Blackhawks are led by a trio of exciting players in right winger Martin Havlat (14 points), right winger Patrick Kane (13 points), and center Jonathan Toews (12 points). Detroit is led by center Johan Franzen (17 points), and left winger Henrik Zetterberg (16 points). Goaltender Chris Osgood had a 2.07 goals against average.

Bet on the MLBGamblers might feel compelled to place their baseball bets on San Francisco. Rival evaluators who scouted the Giants’ offensive work during spring training all left thinking the same thing; pitchers from opposing teams will have to dig deep. Similar to the Kansas City Royals of the previous two years, the Giants are not known for striking out too often.
