NBA Playoffs odds on the western conference have been turned upside down by the Denver Nuggets, who have been the biggest surprise for those betting online. NBA Playoffs odds continue to by high on the Los Angeles Lakers, who are always the top choice for most of the public that is betting online with the NBA post season.
The Denver Nuggets were undefeated against the NBA Playoffs odds after the first two rounds of betting online action. Denver’s emergence in the west and their dominance against the NBA Playoffs odds has surprised nearly everyone as their value was enhanced by the fact that the expectations were so low for them. But as a two-seed in the western conference against the NBA Playoffs odds Denver should have garnered much more respect. The fact that the Lakers continue to be the favorite against the NBA Playoffs odds to win the west should help Denver maintain its status as a top value on the board.
The Lakers are only 6-6 against the NBA Playoffs odds and have looked sloppy for much of the post season. Their seven game series against the Houston Rockets turned a lot of people off and demonstrated their lack of board value against the NBA Playoffs odds.
The Dallas Mavericks have again shown their lack of toughness and character and they came up soft and short against Denver in the second round. The Mavericks never recovered from their 2006 NBA Finals loss to the Miami Heat in which they looked like a sure champ after taking a 2-0 series lead only to lose the final 4 games of the series. Outside of Dirk Nowitzki the Mavs have little left to brag about.

Similar to the Kansas City Royals of the previous two years, the Giants are not known for striking out too often.
