Bet on the MLBBaseball betting will resume this weekend with games 3 and 4 of the World Series from Philadelphia in the sports betting series between the Phillies and New York Yankees. Baseball betting fans saw the Yankees even the sports betting series at 1-1 as they beat the Phillies in game 2 by a score of 3-1.
On Saturday for game 3 the probable baseball betting pitching matchup is left hander Andy Pettitte of the Yankees and left hander Cole Hamels of the Phillies.Pettitte had a sports betting record this year of 16-8 with a 4.00 earned run average. The Yankees were 23-12 with the MLB betting odds when Pettitte took the hill this year. In 3 baseball betting post season appearances this year Pettitte is 2-0 with a 2.37 earned run average.
Hamels had a baseball betting record this year of 11-12 with a 4.49 earned run average. The Phillies had a baseball betting mark of 18-17 with Hamels on the mound. Hamels has struggled in the baseball betting playoffs as in 3 appearances he went 1-1 with a 6.75 earned run average.
On Sunday, for game 4, the probable baseball betting starters are left hander CC Sabathia of the Yankees and left hander Cliff Lee of the Phillies. Sabathia had a baseball betting record of 22-9 with a 3.15 earned run average. In the playoffs he was 3-1 with a 1.52 earned run average.
Lee had a record this year of 17-13 with a 2.89 earned run average. In playoff action this year Lee was 2-0 with a 0.74 earned run average. Lee was phenomenal in game 1 of the World Series as he went the distance allowing just 6 hits and 0 earned runs while striking out 10. Yankee reliever Mariano Rivera might be the most valuable player on either team. He already has 4 saves in the playoffs with a 0.71 earned run average as he has struck out 13 batters in 12.2 innings of work.
New York’s Alex Rodriguez, who did so much to make fans forget about his history of post season failures this year in the American League playoffs, is officially back in the tank as he is 0-8 in the World Series with 6 strikeouts. Both games this weekend are scheduled to start at 8:20 PM Eastern time.
Bet on the MLBGamblers might feel compelled to place their baseball bets on San Francisco. Rival evaluators who scouted the Giants’ offensive work during spring training all left thinking the same thing; pitchers from opposing teams will have to dig deep. Similar to the Kansas City Royals of the previous two years, the Giants are not known for striking out too often.
