Baseball betting line players will have a nice National League central matchup for betting sports with on Wednesday. Baseball betting line handicappers will have their choice of the Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros, two teams expected to bring profits to those betting sports this MLB season.
The probable starters to be posted on the baseball betting line are scheduled to be right hander Rich Harden of the Cubs and left hander Mike Hampton of the Astros. This should be one of the most even pitching matchups so far that those betting sports have seen in this young baseball season.
Harden has a mark against the baseball betting line of 2-1 with a 3.86 earned run average in his first 4 starts this year. He allowed 4 earned runs in 5.2 innings lifetime against the Astros. Hampton is 1-1 so far against the baseball betting line this season with an identical 3.86 earned run average. Hampton has had excellent results against the baseball betting line versus the Cubs with a lifetime mark of 9-4 and a 2.98 earned run average.
The Cubs have been up and down out of the gate against the baseball betting line as they won 13 out of their first 24 games but trailed the red hot St. Louis Cardinals for first place in the NL central. Just 8 out of Chicago's first 24 games went under the total. Chicago ranked in the middle of the pack for both hitting and pitching after one month of play. They won three straight games against the baseball betting line from May 1-3 against the Florida Marlins.
The Houston Astros have been a disappointment so far against the baseball betting line. After finishing strong last year Houston was touted as a NL central contender. The Astros lost 14 out of their first 25 games and were significantly in the red as a result. Houston's 29th ranked offense was the source of their downfall and slow start. Their pitching ranked in the upper third of the majors. The Astros have been playing better as of late, however, as they got the cash in five out of seven games from April 26-May 3.

Bet on the MLBGamblers might feel compelled to place their baseball bets on San Francisco. Rival evaluators who scouted the Giants’ offensive work during spring training all left thinking the same thing; pitchers from opposing teams will have to dig deep. Similar to the Kansas City Royals of the previous two years, the Giants are not known for striking out too often.
