Bet on hockey handicappers were cleaned out recently by a Canuck slump while St. Louis has not been singing the Blues recently against the hockey odds. The Vancouver Canucks got off to a great start this bet on hockey campaign and led the northwest division consistently over the first two months of the season.
Since that time, however, they have had their share of problems and are just now pulling out of a horrible slump against the hockey odds. Vancouver lost ten out of eleven games from January 2 through January 31 before finally stopping the bet on hockey slump with two straight wins to start February.
Still, the tailspin put the Canucks well behind Calgary in the northwest division race and in jeopardy of failing to make the bet on hockey post season. Vancouver does have some bet on hockey assets starting with consistent play on both ends of the rink. Vancouver ranked a respectable 11th overall on offense while ranking 13th overall on defense.
The St. Louis Blues spent the first two months of the bet on hockey campaign decimated by several key injuries. Slowly but surely, however, the injuries have begun to heal and the Blues have had increased success against the hockey odds since the new year began.
From January 3 through February 7 St. Louis went on a bet on hockey stretch in which they went 8-6 but, better still, since they are usually a bet on hockey underdog they made an even better rate of return than that record indicates. Overall St. Louis had a bet on hockey record of 22-24-2-4 straight up but a most profitable 33-19 against the line.
St. Louis has been a solid bet on hockey “over” team with a mark of just 20 games under the total out of 52. There is still time for the Blues to make up ground to gain entry into the western conference playoffs and their current mindset is focused on doing just that!
