Bet on the NFLThe New England Patriots make a quick mid week trip to New Jersey to meet the New York Giants on Wednesday in the last preseason game for both teams. The first kick in East Rutherford at MetLife Stadium will occur at 7:00ET. The game can be seen nationally in most of the U.S. on the NFL Network.

This game promises to be quite different than the last time these two teams met in last years Superbowl. Most of the starters will be on the sidelines, most of the time, observing the rookies and players on the bubble attempt to make the teams.

New England (1-2) QB Tom Brady played 3 quarters against Tampa Bay last Friday in the Pats 30-28 loss to the Bucs. New York(1-2) looked sharp early in their 20-17 loss to the Bears Friday. The NY starters lead 17-7 at the half before giving way to the backups who were then outscored 13-0 by Chicago. There were no significant injuries to report by either team.

As mentioned earlier, you may recall the last game between these teams on February 5, 2012 with the Giants emerging victorious 21-17. The two teams also played in last year's regular season, with the Giants winning 24-20. In head-to-head matchups since 2001, the Giants lead the series 3-2.

The Patriots are 1-2 SU on the season, and 0-1 SU on the road. They are 0-3 ATS after three weeks of the preseason, and 0-1 ATS away from home. The Giants are 1-2 SU overall, and 0-1 SU in New York. They are 2-1 ATS on the year, and 0-1 ATS in home games.

New York is a 2 point home favorite in this one at -$110. The Giants are 0-1 ATS as the home favorite in the preseason. The Patriots are 0-1 ATS as the underdog, but this will be their first game as an away dog. Bet Royal sportsbook's under/over of 41.5 total points is also at a -$110.
