Bet on the NFL The New Orleans Saints are no doubt thankful that Reggie Bush will likely be in the lineup for Thursday’s Turkey Day clash with the Dallas Cowboys. Bush, who hasn’t played since Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers, will make a big difference in a battered New Orleans backfield. The Cowboys, meanwhile, would be thankful for an improbable third straight win since making a coaching change. Sports betting fans should know that Jason Garrett is undefeated as interim head coach and is making a statement that he should take over full-time in 2011.
Here is a look at the injury report for this weekends match up featuring the New Orleans Saints vs. the Dallas Cowboys.
For the Saints, RB Ladell Betts (neck, head) and RB Pierre Thomas (ankle) are both out for sure. Questionable are still the following: RB Reggie Bush (fibula), S Malcolm Jenkins (neck), S Darren Sharper (hamstring) and TE Jeremy Shockey (rib). Probable there is: T Jermon Bushrod (knee), DT Sedrick Ellis (quadricep), DE Junior Galette (shoulder), C Jonathan Goodwin (back), DT Tony Hargrove (knee), RB Chris Ivory (shoulder, knee), CB Patrick Robinson (ankle) and S Usama Young (calf).
The Dallas Cowboys have a list that looks a lot smaller, with: DE Sean Lissemore (ankle) and QB Tony Romo (left shoulder) both out. Then as for the questionables there is: RB Felix Jones (hip). Lastly, the probables we have: LB Bradie James (knee) and CB Terence Newman (ankle).
Bush was limited in practice for the second consecutive day Wednesday and is listed as questionable to play in the Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys. Bush hasn't played since he broke a bone in his lower right leg during a Week 2 victory at San Francisco. Bush warmed up with the Saints before last Sunday's 34-19 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, but he wasn't activated. When betting on football note that the Saints coach Sean Payton said Tuesday that he felt pretty good about Bush's chances of playing against the Cowboys.
