Bet on the NFL The Houston Texans have done nothing but lose since getting back from their bye week. This Sunday they will hit the road for Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 10. When betting on sports this weekend, here are some NFL details to consider.  The Jaguars should be well rested, as Week 9 was their bye, previous to which they had a big win over the Cowboys. The Houston Texans will travel to play the Jacksonville Jaguars on November 14th in a game that will set the tone for both their seasons. The Houston Texans were suppose to take the AFC South this season!  Even though the Texans are not out of the race by any means every AFC South rival game has so much more weight.

For football bets, the Houston Texans passing game has taken a nose dive but the running game has been the one shining light on the offense.

Arian Foster has continued to be the number one running back in the NFL and his back ups Steve Slaton and Derrick Ward have also produced when Foster has taken a breather. Look for the Houston Texans to attempt to get their passing game established early. If Andre Johnson is still hobbled by ankle issues it may curtail the offense a bit but they Matt Schaub still has plenty of targets.

Clearly the Houston Texans defense has been struggling to keep up with most NFL offenses this season. NFL stats show that they are giving up close to 300 yards a game through the air but they have been decent at stopping he run.  As for the Jaguars, David Garrard returns to the starting lineup after a well rested  bye week. Sports betting fans should consider that Garrard definitely has potential and has shown moments of true skill.
