Bet on the NFLThe Seattle Seahawks road record is a mess and this game against an improving New Orleans Saints team November 21st could be a bad idea.
Drew Brees is rounding into form as the New Orleans Saints enter the stretch run. For Brees it has been a rough season as his front offensive line struggled early and then he lost his number one offensive weapon, Reggie Bush. Chris Ivory has taken over as the best running back on the team and when Pierre Thomas returns he will find he has dropped on the depth chart. The New Orleans Saints offense will roll over the weak Seattle Seahawks defense.
The Seattle Seahawks offense on the road abysmal. They have struggled to put together any type of running game and the addition of Marshawn Lynch has not made the impact they expected. The offense starts and ends with an under achieving offensive line. Most of the struggles of this team can be explained away by the Seattle Seahawks struggles up front. The New Orleans Saints defense has a definite edge over the Seattle Seahawks offense.
Rookie Earl Thomas and Lawyer Milloy have been a good combination at the safety and strong safety positions for the Seattle Seahawks defense. Milloy has tallied three safety blitz sacks and Thomas has added four interceptions in his first NFL season. Up front on defense Chris Clemons has been the leading defensive lineman ringing up five and a half sacks.
Darren Sharper was the leader of this New Orleans Saints defense a year ago and this season he has been slowed by injuries and the New Orleans Saints defense has struggled to pick up the slack. Sedrick Ellis leads the defense up front will only four sacks and that should tell story of the New Orleans Saints defense. No pressure on the opposing teams quarterback leads to long days for any NFL defense. The Saints are the overwhelming 12 point favorites, with the over under listed in Sportsbook at 44.
