Bet on the NFLThe Saints go marching into Nashville on Thursday night as New Orleans and the Tennessee Titans match up in the final exhibition game for them both. The march to Nashville was via Cincinnati, as the Saints left the gulf coast early to avoid Hurricane Isaac. They'll practice at the Bengals facility in Ohio on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday before heading to the Music City. The game at LP Field has a scheduled start time of 7:00ET.
New Orleans (2-2) beat the Houston Texans on national TV last Saturday and that turned out to be the last time they worked out together prior to Tuesday. QB Drew Brees threw 2 touchdown passes in the 34-27 win and will undoubtedly be given the night off on Thursday along with many other Saint regulars.
Tennessee (2-1) also appeared nationally on ESPN last Thursday and they too were the recipients of 2 TD throws from their starting QB Jake Locker in a 32-27 triumph over Arizona. WR Kenny Britt is listed as questionable as he recovers from a knee injury. There are no other significant injuries to report for the Titans.
