Bet on the NFLLate on Sunday afternoon, the Jacksonville Jaguars take a trip to the West Coast to take on the Raiders in Oakland. The game in O.co Coliseum is scheduled for 4:25 PM ET, with regional coverage to be provided by CBS.

Jacksonville had Week 6 off, but were routed by the Chicago Bears in Week 5, 41-3. It was all Chicago, as the Jaguars suffered a 26-10 deficit in first downs, a 501-189 deficit in total yards, and a 214-60 deficit in rushing yards. Chicago held onto the ball for 12 more minutes than Jacksonville, and returned 2 interceptions for touchdowns. The Jags managed just 1 field goal all game, and no touchdowns. QB Blaine Gabbert threw 17-of-33, for 142 yards, and 0 touchdowns. In their last two games, they have suffered a combined 68-13 point deficit. On the positive side, the Jaguars have covered both of their road games this year.

The Raiders come into this game off of a close loss on the road to the Atlanta Falcons, 23-20. Oakland clearly won the stats game, holding edges in first downs at 22-16, total yards at 414-286, and rushing yards at 149-45. Three sacks and 12 penalties, however, cost them nearly 140 yards, and they gave up a last-second field goal that put the Falcons on top. QB Carson Palmer threw 23-of-33, for 353 yards, and 1 touchdown.

These two teams have met three times since 2001, with the Jaguars winning and covering in every single one of those. Their last meeting, in December 2010, resulted in a 38-31 Jacksonville victory. In that one, the Jags were 3 ½ point favorites. In a December 2007 matchup, the Jaguars won 49-11, when they were 14 point favorites.
