Bet on the NFLNFL betting lines handicappers have what looks to be a NFL betting mismatch as hapless Cleveland hosts an angry Baltimore team that needs a win. NFL betting lines have been profitable on the Baltimore Ravens this year while the Cleveland Browns have been one of the worst teams on the NFL betting board.

The Baltimore Ravens have a NFL betting lines record of 4-4 straight up and 5-3 against the spread.  The Ravens are coming off a 7-17 NFL betting loss at Cincinnati in a key AFC North Division showdown and are now 2 games behind the Bengals and Pittsburgh for the division race.  The Ravens NFL football betting focus is now on the wild card but they cannot afford another slip up with the NFL betting lines, especially against the Browns.

The Cleveland Browns have a NFL betting lines record of 1-7 straight up and 3-5 against the spread.  Cleveland has lost 2 consecutive games with the NFL betting lines and last played on November 1 when they lost at Chicago 6-30 as 11.5-point road dogs.

The Browns have one of the worst offenses in the league and it’s a major reason for their lack of success with the  NFL betting lines.  Cleveland ranks 30th in total yards, and 31st in scoring.  Quarterback Derek Anderson has been an embarrassment with a 43% completion rate and a 2/9 touchdown to interception ratio for a QB rating of a disgraceful 36.2.  And yet head coach Eric Mangini won’t bench him.

The Browns defense isn’t much better with the NFL betting lines as it ranks 32nd for total yards allowed and 28th for points permitted.

The Baltimore Ravens rank 9th with the NFL betting lines for both scoring and points allowed.  The Ravens have a well balanced attack with quarterback Joe Flacco and running back Ray Rice.  Flacco has a 90.2 QB rating while Rice is averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

The Ravens are not ready to panic despite the slow start and know that their fate is in their own hands.

“Don’t hit the panic button just yet,” said linebacker Terrell Suggs.  “We’re not out of the playoffs.  Its not where we wanted to be or expected to be but its where we are.  We have to be men and climb out of it.”

Cleveland has gotten the cash in 4 out of their last 5 home games with Baltimore.
