Bet on the NFL Michael Vick’s year has been a more than exceptional comeback. He was recently commended by the President of the United States, Barrack Obama, he’s the Philadelphia Eagle’s star quarterback, and all of this after serving time in prison for dogfighting charges.
He was recently chosen via a vote by NFL players, coaches and fans, to start in the NFC Pro Bowl on January 30th in Honolulu, Hawaii. Prior to serving time and being suspended from the NFL Michael Vick had already played in three Pro Bowls with the Falcons.
Atlanta happens to be the NFC leader with a 12-3 record, they lead the way with the most players in the Pro Bowl, at seven. Some of these players being Matt ryan, Roddy White and John Abraham. Then there’s the New England Patriots, they have a 13-2 Pro Bowl record with Tom Brady, their star quarterback leading the way. If the Pats don’t go to the Super Bowl this will be Brady’s sixth trip to the Pro Bowl, which is going to be held the weekend before the Super Bowl goes down in Texas at Dallas Cowboys stadium.
Other teams with athletes that were voted into the bowl include Baltimore, Green Bay and Dallas. Notable rookies that made the cut are Mdamukong Suh or the Lions, he is also a starter for the NFC. Then there is Devin McCourty of the Pats, Marc Mariami of the Titans and Maurkice Pouncey of the Steelers all of whom will play for the AFC team. When sports betting on football note that are 7 first-timers on the NFC team and double that, a whopping 14 for the AFC. A couple teams didn’t lend any talent to the Bowl, including the Bills, the Bengals, the Seahawks and the Buccaneers.
Let’s take a look at the starting line up for the NFC. Joining Vick will be Julius Peppers from the Bears, Ratliff and Ware from the Cowboys, Matthews, Collins and Woodson of the Packers, and Willis of the 49ers.
Now for noteable from the AFC starting line up, we’ve got Mathis and Freeney from the Colts, Lewis from the Ravens, Harrison from the Steelers, Wake from the Dolphins, Revis from the Jets and Asomugha from the Raiders.
