Bet on the NFL The Washington Redskins are third in the NFC East with a 6-9 record going into the final week of the 2010 NFL regular season. They host their second place NFC East rivals, the New York Giants who currently hold a 9-6 record this season. When betting on sports keep theses Giants/ Redskins fats in mind: The Giants have won eight out of nine games vs. the Redskins. Also note that five of those wins have been by at least nine points, and four games were by two touchdowns or more. Also on the line are playoff dreams for the Giants so if they win and Chicago beats Green Bay, then the Giants clinch a playoff berth—and perhaps save Tom Coughlin’s job. The Giants are still trying to recover from the disaster that was the Eagles game. The Giants lost a 31-10 lead fall apart in the final 8 minutes of the game. They are really going to need to put the past behind them and stay focused on all fronts if they want to hold onto what little chances they have left of making it into the playoffs. It probably isn’t helping that the team was stranded in Wisconsin for two consecutive nights after the loss to the Packers Sunday because their charter was unable to take on the majore winter storm that as dumping two feet of fresh powder on New Jersey.
Sportsbook lists the Giants are the minus four point road favorites this weekend, with the total over under at 44.5.
In recent Redskins news, cornerback Carols Rogers is hoping that his sore calf won’t get in the way of the season finale this weekend. He had to leave last weekend’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first half because of his nagging calf. He has recently come out to the media saying that the injury is feeling a lot better now, but just straining a bit. Another Redskins, Joe Joeseph was arrested this weekend for driving under the influence. He was arrested once the Redskins had returned on Sunday from Jacksonville, it was his first game as an active member of an NFL roster. So it seems that the 25 years old lineman was celebrating late into the night on Sunday, as he was arrensted at 3AM on Monday morning by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
