Bet on the NFL  The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Chicago this weekend to take on the Bears. The Eagles currently sit atop the AFC East with a 7-3-0 record. The Bears are also first in their division, the NFC North with a 7-3-0 record, and will be looking to keep up their winning streak this Holiday weekend.

The unstoppable force of Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles will meet the irresistible force of the Chicago Bears defense November 28th. Something to consider when placing your football bets: the Chicago Bears have a winning record but have received little or no respect from the media.

The main reason for the negative reaction to the Chicago Bears is their lack of a running game and their porous offensive line. Both elements have been addressed of late and it could lead to an NFL Playoff appearance by the Bears. With the dismissal of Brad Childress the Minnesota Vikings could be on the Chicago Bears tail soon enough.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has been under attack all season from opposing defensive lines and his stats have reflected this. Cutler is throwing for just over 200 yards per game and he is doing on his heels every snap.

Sportsbook lists the Eagles as the 3 point road favorites, with the total over under at 42.

The Chicago Bears have bulked up the front line a bit but there were still situations in the Miami Dolphins game where Cutler was forcing the ball in bad spots. Matt Forte was used more on the ground in the Thursday Night Football game and this could be a hint of things to come from Mike Martz.

The Philadelphia Eagles defense has looked bad in earlier games this season but looking at their defensive numbers things are not as bad as it would appear. The defense is giving up just over 100 yards a game on the ground and 210 yards per game through the air.

Early in the season the Philadelphia Eagles secondary was getting torched and now they have corrected the problem and Assante Samuels has stepped up his game. Samuel and his teammates in the secondary have risen to the occasion and become a true ball hawking offense. The Philadelphia Eagles defense has the edge over the Chicago Bears offense.
