Bet on the NFLThis NFC East battle will surely be one to watch as the first place New York Giants will face the 3rd place Philadelphia Eagles. These two teams have a long history and surely are rivals in the East. The teams have had their fair shares of battles in the past and this game will not be any different. The Eagles have had a somewhat mediocre start to their season as Philadelphia fans were expecting a lot from the team as Mike Vick took over as the quarterback. The New York Giants are currently in first place but just suffered a loss dealt by the San Francisco 49ers.
Both teams are coming off of losses and there really is no deciding factor when looking at winning and losing streaks. The Giants loss to the 49ers and the Eagles lost to the Chicago Bears. The Eagles have been able to sprinkle in only 3 wins and even had a 4 game losing streak early in the season. The Eagles are currently 3-5 and will look to fight their way back to a .500 season. The Giants are at 6-3 and have had a much more consistent season compared to the Eagles. The Giants have been able to string together multiple win streaks and are really looking to start another one.

The Eagles however are very dangerous and should never be overlooked as a threat in the league. As long as Mike Vick is playing the quarterback position and Desean Jackson as his main target, the Eagles are always a threat. The Giants will try to follow Eli Mannings lead as he will help drive the Giants to another win to help them increase their lead in the NFC East. Look to see both teams battling hard but expect to see the Giants to come out on top by a close margin.
