Bet on the NFLThe Dallas Cowboys are -3 favorites at home against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend. The 10-4 Cowboys are trying to clinch a playoff spot while the 10-4 Colts already have one but are trying to get a first round bye.
The Cowboys have won their last two games and scored at least 30 points in each of them. In fact, the Cowboys have only two wins this year where they did not score at least that many points. Still, the Cowboys are dealing with a significant concern over one player who may not be available during this game.
With 1,687 rushing yards, DeMarco Murray still has a chance to become the eighth person in NFL history to get to 2,000 yards in a season. However, there is a very realistic concern that he may not actually play in this game. He underwent surgery to fix a broken hand and it is uncertain as to if he will actually play in the game. He was originally listed as doubtful to play but has since been upgraded to being questionable, thus putting his quest to reach the 2,000-yard club in jeopardy.
Quarterback Tony Romo has also made a comeback following an injury of his own. He has thirteen touchdown passes versus two interceptions in his last five games with the Cowboys.
The Colts clinched the AFC South title against Houston last week and have won four games in a row. T.Y. Hilton injured his hamstring last week and is currently questionable for the game as he ha not been participating in some practices recently. Hilton has 1,345 receiving yards this season.
Andrew Luck is the top passer in the NFL with 4,492 passing yards. He also has 38 touchdowns versus 14 interceptions.
Adam Vinatieri has also made all 28 of his field goal attempts this year. This makes him the only regular kicker in the league to have completed every single field goal that he has gone after; three of those field goals were of fifty yards or greater.
