Thomas Jones has had a major impact on this offense as the veteran that still has plenty left in his tank. The Kansas City Chiefs lead the league in rushing yards averaging over 170 yards per game.
The St Louis Rams defense is decent up front and weak on the corners. Up front the defensive line has had their moments and as a run stopping defense they have provided plenty of punch up front. The St Louis Rams are allowing just over 100 yards per game on the ground.
James Laurinaitis runs the St Louis Rams defense from the linebacker position and his ability to see the play develop has made him one of the premiere linebackers in the NFL. The weakness in the secondary would be an issue against most teams but the Kansas City Chiefs are not going to be getting their receivers behind the St Louis Rams defense. The St Louis Rams defense has the edge over the Kansas City Chiefs offense.
