Bet on the NFL In their first week back since bye Week, the Broncos will host the Chiefs.
According to sportsbook it's a battle of the AFC West November 14th. The Denver Broncos defense cannot be happy with what they expect to see from Kansas City Chiefs offense in this game. The Denver Broncos host the Kansas City Chiefs in their first week back since bye week. Prior to their time-off the Chiefs were on quite the losing streak, losing for four consecutive games. Nonetheless, rookie Tim Tebow is working on an inspirational memoir. The former Heisman Trophy winner hopes to release his tale this Spring.
The Kansas City Chiefs all in all are a solid team this season, but a few key mistakes could hurt them in the long run. The secondary is young but fast and they have a reputation for containing and bottling up receivers. Against the run the Kansas City Chiefs have been solid. When betting on football note that they have given up an average of 100 yards per game on the ground but they looked like they had difficulty with Darren McFadden of the Oakland Raiders in their overtime loss in their last game.
The Denver Broncos offense has been on fire when it comes to the passing game. This has made Kyle Orton and the Denver Broncos a one dimensional team. With Orton as a strong passing quarterback, Josh McDaniels has gotten away from establishing the run. The loss of Knowshon Moreno for several games did not help. The Kansas City Chiefs defense has the edge over the Denver Broncos offense.
However, as far as defense goes, the Broncos have been a bit of a disappointment.
The defense has given up an average of over 150 yards per game on the ground but against the pass they have been solid. They have allowed just over 200 yards per game through the air. Kansas City will pound the ball inside with Thomas Jones and on the edges with Jamaal Charles. The Denver defensive ends will be no match for the outside speed of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now let's take a look at Kansas City. Matt Cassel is rated as one of the worst NFL quarterbacks in the NFLand it allows the opposing defenses to stack the line and over play the run. Jamaal Charles is still fast enough on the edges to overcome the Denver Broncos line pursuit and Thomas Jones is enough of a bulldozer to pound out three yards a carry inside. Look for some old fashioned smash mouth football in this one. For online wagering consider that the Kansas City Chiefs offense has the edge over the Denver Broncos defense.
