Bet on the NFLThe last Monday Night Football game of the season might end up being the best one of the season. The 9-4-1 Cincinnati Bengals will be hosting the 11-3 Denver Broncos. The Broncos have a -3.5 edge in this game as both teams are going after playoff spots. The Broncos have already clinched the AFC West but they are trying to maintain a first round bye position. Meanwhile, the Bengals are half a game ahead of Pittsburgh and Baltimore in the AFC North.
The Bengals shut out Cleveland 30-0 last week. A.J. Green and Jermaine Gresham are both probable and should be back to their full capacity this weekend. However, there are concerns over how Andy Dalton has fifteen touchdowns versus fourteen interceptions this year and is barely at 3,000 passing yards for the year.
The Bengals have gotten a strong two-man running game this year with Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard. Hill has 877 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while Bernard has 636 yards and five touchdowns. Dalton has four rushing touchdowns himself.
However, the Broncos have the second-best rush defense in the NFL with 72 yards being given up in each game. They have also won their last four games.
C.J. Anderson is expected to be the key running back for the Broncos in this game. Ronnie Hillman and Juwan Thompson are both questionable for the match.
Peyton Manning has the fourth-highest total in the league with 4,143 passing yards. He also has 37 touchdowns and just eleven interceptions. Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders both have more than 1,200 receiving yards as well. The Broncos' defense also has sixteen interceptions and 38 sacks. Von Miller has thirteen of those sacks while DeMarcus Ware has ten.
The Broncos have a few issues with injuries as well. Linebacker Danny Trevathan is out for the season with a knee injury. Also, Brandon Marshall is out with a sprain in his foot although he is expected to return to his linebacker position in time for the start of the playoffs a few weeks from now.
