Bet on the NFLThe Baltimore Ravens will be hosting the Cincinnati Bengals on September 27. The Ravens are -2.5 favorites to beat the Bengals although the two are on the opposite ends of the standings spectrum. However, the Ravens have been on the road so far this season while the Bengals have been rather proficient this year in terms of their passing game.

A Look At the Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens lost their games to Denver and Oakland by one-possession margins so far this year. The greatest concern that the Ravens have at this point is from Terrell Suggs tearing his Achilles tendon.

Joe Flacco has been off to a difficult start this season. He has 501 passing yards and two touchdowns versus three interceptions. Justin Forsett only has 111 rushing yards as well.

However, the Ravens did start their season off on the west coast far from home. Whether or not this is a point that hurt the team at the start is uncertain but the Ravens are at least favored based on how they will be coming back home.

The Ravens do have five sacks with C.J. Mosley getting two of them. Kicker Justin Tucker has also continued to show just how amazingly reliable he is as he has completed all six of his field goals. He is also perfect on extra points, an important factor considering how the extra point is further back this year.

Checking on the Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals blew out Oakland and had a narrow victory at home against San Diego to start the season. One huge part of the Bengals’ rise this year comes from Andy Dalton having five touchdowns versus zero interceptions. Tyler Eifert also has three touchdowns, a big point considering how he missed a large part of last season with an injury. He even has a narrow edge over A.J. Green for having the most receiving yards so far.

The Bengals also have six sacks so far this year. Carlos Dunlap and Geno Atkins have been leading the team’s defense so far this year to make it stronger while giving opposing quarterbacks real fits.

The fact that the Ravens will be hosting the game is a big part of why the Ravens are -2.5 favorites to win this game. Even with this, the Ravens have plenty of questions while the Bengals are riding off of the momentum of winning their first two games. This will be a very popular game for people to bet on during this coming week’s action.
