Bet on NCAAFThe Nebraska Cornhuskers are hosting the Miami Hurricanes in Lincoln this coming weekend. The Cornhuskers have competed against the Hurricanes in a number of bowl games including three Orange Bowls and one Rose Bowl. This marks the first time that the two have faced each other in a setting outside of a bowl game.
The last time the two teams competed against one another came in the 2002 Rose Bowl. The Hurricanes won their game 37-14. The Hurricanes have won three of the four games that they have played each other in.
Nebraska came back last weekend with a 55-19 win over Fresno State with an -11 spread. This came after they survived a scare and meat McNeese State 31-24 in spite of being -35 favorites for that game. While the Cornhuskers have won their last four games, they have also won three of them against the spread.
The Cornhuskers went under on their last four games after getting 280 or more passing yards in their last game. They have still been over on their last four games at home against teams who have winning road records. These make for some conflicting points over what to do with this bet for the game.
Miami won their last game with Arkansas State by a score of 41-20 and got past the -14.5 spread. The Hurricanes have only won against the spread twice in their last ten matches. They have won ATS in their last eight games after one where they got a straight up win of more than twenty points. They lost their last five ATS after getting at least 280 passing yards in a prior game though.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are -7 favorites to win this match. The game has an over/under listed at 58.5 points. The moneyline is also listed at +250 for the Hurricanes to pull off the upset. This will be a rather interesting game to watch even though the history from the matchups between these two teams from the past has been rather distant to say the least.
