Bet on NCAAFThe Florida State Seminoles will be hosting the Clemson Tigers in Tallahassee. The big story for this game comes from Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston being suspended for the entire first half of the game. This could make for a close game with a rather inexperienced Sean Maguire playing in the first half but at the same time the Seminoles have some strong odds. Still, the odds are not as strong now as they were prior to this suspension coming about.
The Seminoles and Tigers have split their last ten games in this ACC rivalry with Florida State winning last year's game 51-14. In addition to beating the -5 spread, the Seminoles got the game past the over/under of 63. The over has gone forward in five of the last six games while the Tigers have won four of their last five in the rivalry match against the spread.
Florida State has lost their last three ATS even though they won them all straight up. These include a narrow 37-31 win over Oklahoma State with a -18 spread. In addition, the Seminoles were -58.5 favorites against the Citadel but they only won 37-12. The Seminoles have also won ATS in their last four ACC games.
The Clemson Tigers beat South Carolina State 73-7 in their last game, surpassing the -34 spread while also going past the 58 over/under. The Tigers have gone over the point total in their last four ACC games. They have also gone under the total in six of their last seven games following a score of at least forty points in their last game.
The Florida State Seminoles are -17 favorites to win the game. The line was originally listed at -21 before the Winston suspension. The over/under is listed at 60.5 points for the entire game. Moneyline bets are not easily available due to the sportsbook odds but places that do have it are giving the Tigers a +550 line to win the game straight up. This is a big match that could easily change as the game gets closer to the start.
