Bet on NCAAFCollege football odds are set for the Mid-American Conference college football betting matchup between the Ohio Bobcats and home-standing Buffalo Bulls. College football odds handicappers have seen the Bulls suffer quite a college football betting fall as they are 3-6 straight up after winning the MAC last year.

Buffalo has beaten the college football odds in just 4 out of those 9 games and is 1-2 both straight up and with the college football betting board in their last 3 games.  Buffalo is coming off a November 3 online betting home loss to Bowling Green 29-30 as 3-point home favorites.

The Ohio Bobcats are on a collision course with the Temple Owls for the top spot in the MAC East Division.  Ohio is 5-4 with the college football odds and has gone under the total in 6 out of 9 games this year.  Ohio failed to cover the college football odds in their last game, which was a 20-17 win at Ball State as 5.5-point favorites.

Ohio’s strength with the college football odds is defense as they rank 31st in the nation for points allowed.  Their offense is rather weak and ranks 104th in total yards and 76th in points scored.  Ohio has excellent special teams that have blocked 4 punts and returned 2 more punts for touchdowns.  Kicker Matt Weller is 15-20 on field goals as a redshirt freshman.

Buffalo has had a bizarre season with the college football odds as they rank a respectable 34th in the nation for total yards on offense but just 87th for points scored.  Buffalo’s defense ranks 56th with the college football odds for total yards allowed but 73rd in points permitted.  Quarterback Zach Maynard has thrown for 2147 yards and a 60% completion rate but has been inconsistent with a 15/11 touchdown to interception ratio.

This matchup will feature two head coaches that were Nebraska legends.  Ohio coach Frank Solich was the offensive coordinator when Buffalo head coach Turner Gill was the quarterback during Nebraska’s explosive and powerful run in the early 1980’s. Buffalo has beaten the college football odds in 6 out of their last 9 games against Ohio.
