Bet on NCAAFCollege football odds for Friday will feature a college football betting matchup of teams with coaches who can’t quite ever close the deal and get over the hump. College football odds bettors were stunned by Pitt’s collapse at NC State while Louisville continues to be a college football betting disappointment.

Last week Pitt blew a 31-17 3rd quarter lead against the college football odds and suffered a 31-28 loss to North Carolina State as 1-point college football betting road favorites as head coach Dave Wannstedt’s defense allowed 530 total yards and was manhandled for 37:07 time of possession.

Wannstedt again proved that he is a dangerous coach to place much online betting faith, (and dollars), on.  The loss made Pitt 3-1 straight up and 2-1 against the college football odds with 2 of their 3 lined games having gone over the total.  Pitt ranks 17th against the college football odds for points scored and 40th overall for points allowed.

The Louisville Cardinals are in even worse shape, however, as they are 1-2 straight up and 1-1 against the college football odds.  Last week the Cardinals suffered a 14-30 loss at Utah as 14-point road dogs against the
college football odds.  Head coach Steve Kragthorpe has never been popular at Louisville after taking over a team that was considered top 10 material 2 years ago only to go 6-6 in his first year and an even worse 5-7 last year.

Kragthorpe now has one of the hottest seats of any coach against the college football odds but a Big East conference win in this matchup would go a long way towards jump starting his team’s season.  Louisville’s offense has been a major weakness for them against the college football odds as they rank 86th in scoring.  The defense has not been much better as it ranks 66th in points allowed.

Last year Pitt clobbered Louisville 41-7 as 6-point home chalks with the game staying under the total of 52. Can Pitt bounce back from their draining defeat of last week?  Can Louisville get off the mat?  That’s what this one comes down too!
