Bet on NCAAFCollege football action this past weekend saw some contenders be exposed as NCAAF betting pretenders and the BCS field thinned out after some stunning results. College football shockers began early in the day when undefeated Iowa suffered a 10-17 home loss to Northwestern as 17.5-point NCAAF betting chalks.
The Hawkeyes validated the many college football skeptics that felt that they were not a legitimate BCS team.
The college football surprises continued in the next segment of afternoon games when Oregon suffered a 42-51 NCAAF betting upset loss at Stanford as 5-point college football betting road favorites. It was quite a college football reversal for the Ducks after their blowout win over USC last week.
Notre Dame wasted whatever legitimate shot they had this college football season at a BCS bowl berth with a 21-23 home loss to Navy as 11.5-point home favorites. This was Navy’s second consecutive win at Notre Dame Stadium, which hasn’t been done by them since the early 1960’s when Roger Staubach was the Heisman Trophy winner and quarterback of the Midshipmen.
TCU, Cincinnati, and Boise State, all benefited from the chaos at the top of the BCS charts as they each scored wins.
TCU moved to 4th in the BCS with a 55-12 college football win and cover at San Diego State.
Cincinnati moved to 5th in the BCS after their 47-45 thriller at home over Connecticut. The Bearcats failed to cover the huge 17-point number, however.
Boise State is now 6th in the BCS after their 45-35 win at Louisiana Tech although they failed to cover as 19.5-point chalks.
Top ranked Florida kept humming with a 27-3 home win over Vanderbilt but did not cover the college football number as 32.5-point chalks.
Alabama moved back into the #2 slot of the BCS with a 24-15 home win over LSU in a push.
And Texas went from 2 to 3 in the college football BCS standings with a 35-3 home win over Central Florida in which they failed to cover as 34.5-point favorites.
All in all the top teams in the BCS were horrible values and overlays in week 10 as the dogs were not just barking but biting hard and producing cash.
