Bet on NCAAFCollege football Thursday offers a rematch to one of the most memorable Thursday night NCAAF betting matchups from last year as West Virginia hosts Colorado. College football fans recall Colorado’s breath taking 17-14 win and cover last year as 2.5-point NCAAF betting dogs.  This year they face a revenge minded unit on the road.

The Colorado Golden Buffaloes got off to the worst possible start to the college football season with back to back losses both straight up and against the spread to non-BCS NCAAF betting opponents Colorado State and Toledo.  While the Buffs stopped the college football betting red ink with a 24-0 shutout win at home over Wyoming on September 19 they still face plenty of college football skepticism his year.

Colorado ranks only 69th in college football for scoring and an even worse 77th overall for points allowed.  Head coach Dan Hawkins is under increased fire from college football fans at CU and has produced just 1 bowl team in his first 3 years on the job.  He is also catching heat for the play of his son at quarterback as Cody Hawkins has been inconsistent, though he has not had a lot of help.  With 9 starters returning on offense for this college football season much more production was expected.

The West Virginia Mountaineers are 2-1 straight up and 1-1 against the spread to start the college football season as both of their lined games went over the total.  The Mounties college football strength is their offense as it ranks a respectable 33rd in scoring and 15th overall in passing yardage.  Quarterback Jarrett Brown is off to a solid start with 69% of his passes completed for 798 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Brown must cut down on his interceptions, however, as he has thrown 5 so far this year.  Bill Stewart, who is in his 2nd year as head coach, must get his defense up to par as it ranks 83rd in points allowed and has struggled against the pass.  West Virginia is coming off a September 19 loss at Auburn 30-41 as 7-point dogs. With Colorado coming off a much needed win and the Mounties seeking a revenge win to jump start their season this game has everything needed for a classic!
