Bet on NCAAFCollege football bettors have seen the Ball State Cardinals suffer an epic NCAAF betting collapse from last year’s MAC West Division champs to the cellar this year. College football handicappers have had a tough time with Western Michigan as well as the Broncos have a NCAAF betting record of 5-6 straight up and 3-8 against the spread.
Ball State has gone back into their traditional role of being one of the worst programs in college football. Their coach from last year, Brady Hoke, ran off to San Diego State after Ball State refused to upgrade their program despite his NCAAF betting success. The Cardinals are 1-10 straight up and 5-6 against the spread. Ball State has had their best college football betting success on the road with a mark of 4-1 against the spread this year.
Ball State has gone under the college football total in 8 out of their 11 games. The Cardinals have been horrible on both sides of the line as they rank 107th in college football for scoring and 90th for points allowed. Ball State is coming off a 3-35 college football loss at Central Michigan on November 187 as 14.5-point dogs. The Western Michigan Broncos are coming off a 35-14 college football win at Eastern Michigan as 14-point favorites. The Broncos are just slightly better in the college football rankings than Ball State as they rate 74th in the nation for scoring and 83rd in points allowed.
They do have one of the better passing attacks in the nation, however, as quarterback Tim Hiller has passed for 61% completions, has thrown for 2895 yards, and has a 22/9 touchdown to interception ratio. The Broncos have a diversified receiving corps that features 5 players with at least 32 receptions. Western Michigan has gone under the total in 7 out of 11 games this year.Ball State has gone under the total in 7 of their last 10 road games. The Cardinals have gotten the cash in 4 out of their last 5 matchups with Western Michigan and the two teams have combined to go over the total in 4 out of those 5 games.
