Bet on NCAAFThe Missouri Tigers just dropped from the national rankings but are still trying to back into the running to possibly play in the SEC title game. The Tigers will open their SEC schedule with their division rivals in the South Carolina Gamecocks. The game will take place in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday night.
The Gamecocks have won both games that they have played against the Tigers since the latter got into the SEC. The Gamecocks won ATS the first time around in a 31-10 win with a -10.5 spread and got a push on a -3 spread last year with a 27-24 win. This is a rather young rivalry but as they are both in the same division, it will certainly flourish over time and the Tigers will be hungry to try and get a win.
South Carolina has recovered from their season-opening loss to Texas A&M with three straight victories to East Carolina, Georgia and Vanderbilt. Still, the Gamecocks lost ATS to Vanderbilt last weekend. The Gamecocks were -23 favorites against the Commodores but only won 48-34.
The Missouri Tigers lost to Indian 31-27 last week in spite of being -14 favorites. They have won seven of their last ten ATS. They have gone over on their last four games on grass surfaces. In addition, they have won their last four games ATS in weeks after giving up more than 200 rushing yards to their prior opponents.
