Bet on NCAAFThis Saturday October 26th at 7PM ET. In Columbia, Missouri at Faurot Field, the #21 South Carolina Gamecocks (5-2, 3-2 SEC) visit the #5 Missouri Tigers (7-0, 3-0 SEC). For those of you who Bet on College football the opening line for the game favors Missouri at -3 Even. To date both teams have a great passing game with visiting South Carolina QB Shaw accumulating 1307 yards passing with 11 touchdowns completing 92 of 145 attempts, and the Missouri QB Franklin with 14 touchdowns completing 132 of 195 pass attempts gaining 1577 yards. The leading rusher for the Gamecocks RB Davis has amassed some 10 TD’s gaining 879 yards on 132 carries, while the Tigers leading rusher is RB Josey with 8 TD’s gaining 494 yards on some 83 carries.
With seven games now completed by the Missouri Tigers the team finds itself at the top of the South Eastern Conference Standings and this happens to be only the second year in the SEC. Thus far they have beaten both Georgia and Florida at very opportune times and thanks to some very improve play on both offense and defense.
On the other side South Carolina comes to Missouri having a very costly loss to Tennessee that in all reality they should have overcome. At the same time they are hoping that starting QB Shaw who sprained his knee in the game at Tennessee might be able to return to the lineup for this game. In this division of the SEC the Gamecocks have the best chance of catching up with the Tigers if they can manage a win in this game.
For the underdog South Carolina who is +3 at Bet Royal for the game to win this game at Missouri they need to try for an early lead in the game and certainly put their running game to the test especially if QB Shaw is unable to start as it would take some pressure of him or his replacement as RB Mike Davis is the SEC’s leading rusher going into this game. To win this game they must make him the key to the offense and on the defense they must shut down the Tigers rushing game had put the Missouri backup QB Mauk to the test in only his second game.
