Bet on NCAAFWhat will happen in the final conference meeting between to ancient rivals? That is the question that many football fans in the Longhorn state are asking themselves this weekend. Can the Aggies overcome their second half deficiencies in the early part of the season and pull off a victory over the Raiders. Or will the Raiders hold on and outlast the Aggies, taking advantage of their late game difficulties?
A confident, 4 – 0 Texas Tech team does not forsee any difficulties with this road contest, seeing that it is the easiest opponent they have faced thus far this season. Even with their questions in the both the secondary and the receiving corps, the Raiders have still managed to look extremely impressive in their four wins. Meanwhile, the Aggies have struggled. Even though they have played some pretty tough competition over the last four weeks, they have come out of the gate too fast and seemingly died after the half. The parody here comes from the fact that this is a must-win contest for the Aggies. I hope, for the sake of Aggie fans, that they come out strong early and bury the Raiders, in hope that they have addressed their second half woes. If this is the case, the Aggies should be able to hang on for a victory.
