The Spartans are the top seed in the West region while the Cardinals are the fourth seed. The game will be airing in the United States on TBS. The winner of this game will play against either Marquette or Florida for the chance to make it into the Final Four.

The Michigan State Spartans defeated LIU Brooklyn in their first game and narrowly beat out Saint Louis 65-61 in their second game. Spartans coach Tom Izzo is looking to get his team into the Final Four for the seventh time in his career with the team.

Draymond Green leads the Spartans in several different categories. The senior forward leads the team in points, rebounds, steals and assists. The Louisville Cardinals snuck past both Davidson and New Mexico during the tournament. The Cardinals beat New Mexico 59-56 on Saturday in their last game. Coach Rick Pitino is trying to get into the Final Four for the sixth time in his career. This includes his appearances with Kentucky and Providence.

Senior forward Kyle Kuric leads the Cardinals with 13.1 points in each game. Sophomore guard Russ Smith is coming off of a 17 point performance against New Mexico. He is second on the Cardinals with an 11.4 point average in each game this year.

The Michigan State Spartans are the favorites for the game, according to NCAA basketball odds, with a -5.5 advantage. The Spartans also have a -230 moneyline bet for them. The Cardinals have a +190 moneyline bet. There is also a 125 over/under line with -110 payouts on each end.
