NCAA college basketball fans have not seen either North Carolina Central or Winston Salem on the college basketball betting board this season!
Before a handicapper thinks that he is “flying blind” in this NCAA college basketball matchup between the North Carolina Central Eagles and Winston Salem Rams there are some indicators that can be used to make a solid college basketball betting judgment.
Winston Salem will enter this NCAA college basketball game with a straight up record of 8-21 including 3-8 at home. They have had their share of games this season against better known and “big time” NCAA college basketball programs. In those games against “prime time” competition the Rams have shown poorly.
They were blown out in their NCAA college basketball opener by Georgia Tech of the Atlantic coast conference 47-92. They were later dominated by another NCAA college basketball name brand team in a 31-62 loss at Wake Forest. They then later lost at yet another ACC team’s home court in a 46-74 defeat to North Carolina State.
North Carolina Central has a college basketball betting record of 3-27 straight up including 0-18 on the road. In a NCAA college basketball comparison of a common opponent, North Carolina Central was clobbered by Wake Forest 48-94. They showed “relatively” well against Arkansas of the southeastern conference in a 70-98 loss.
At South Carolina, however, they suffered a horrible NCAA college basketball loss by a score of 43-90. They did put up a fight at Michigan of the big ten in a 57-77 loss but were blown off the court at Miami of the ACC 42-76.
The previous NCAA college basketball matchup between these two teams was on December 18 in which Winston Salem prevailed at North Carolina Central by a score of 66-51. Both Brian Fisher and Jamal Durham had 19 points to lead the Rams while Jamar Briscoe had 13 points to lead the Eagles.
