The best chance of a surprise may come from Marquette. This will depend upon how well they do in the Big East conference tournament. Keep an eye on how competitive each team is in the conference tournament. Any team showing momentum coming out of this tournament, may be a big surprise during March Madness. This may be the Golden Eagles.

Another possibility will be the Louisville Cardinals. They too, could be a very competitive team and will certainly have long odds. Teams from the Big East are not given the respect they deserve from bettors. However, this year, there may be many regrets by ignoring the Big East.

The odds of one of the teams mentioned above winning the NCAA tournament are long, 25-1 or 30-1 at least; but the chances of making it to the final four are better. Pay attention to the teams that have played well in the Big East, and keep them in mind when making out your bracket predictions.
