College basketball bets will easily go towards Purdue but those who bet on NCAA basketball realize you can throw out the records with this rivalry. It is hard to convince anyone to make college basketball bets on the Indiana Hoosiers, who are paying the price this season for the sins of departed coach Kelvin Sampson.
New coach Tom Crean left a highly successful program at Marquette to take on the challenge of restoring Indiana to greatness and its apparent now to everyone that likes to bet on NCAA basketball that the restoration project will take a long time to complete.
Indiana had an overall record of a humiliating 6-17 straight up but was a surprising 9-8 with their college basketball bets. Indiana has such a horrible reputation with handicappers that they are getting enhanced added value from the odds makers in order to attract college basketball bets their way.
A great example of this is that the Hoosiers went 1-5 straight up from January 25 through February 10 but were 4-2 on their college basketball bets in those games! Purdue on the other hand has been in thick of the Big 10 race and had an overall record of 19-6 straight up but was just 10-11 on their college basketball bets.
The Boilermakers have burned those who bet on NCAA basketball with them recently as they were just 1-3 in college basketball bets for the month of February. Purdue was 7-4 at home in college basketball bets with 7 of those 11 games having gone under the total.
The Boilermakers were an even 10-10 on college basketball bets as a favorite. Anyone that makes college basketball bets realizes that this is a dangerous spot for Purdue. The Hoosiers have no hope of post season action and this is their “Big Dance”. For Purdue, this is a shot at revenge for their loss last season at Indiana.
