Bet on NCAABThe South Florida Bulls will be playing their second game in the Big East tournament on Thursday.

They will be taking on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Irish have yet to play a game in the tournament.

South Florida is 20-12 with a 12-6 Big East record. The Bulls beat Villanova yesterday 56-47 to advance to the quarterfinals. Notre Dame is 21-10 and has a 13-5 record in the conference. The Irish, who are #23 in both polls, last played in a 75-69 win over Providence last Friday. Notre Dame also beat the Bulls 60-49 on January 10 in South Bend.

Notre Dame was on a two game losing streak until the Irish beat Providence. This win was punctuated by Jack Cooley's 27 point performance with 17 rebounds. Cooley, a junior forward, has 12.5 points per game this year.

Although South Florida had a strong regular season, the Bulls are still on the NCAA Tournament bubble. The Bulls' win over Villanova was a key to the team's hopes. Freshman guard Anthony Collins scored 17 points in that game. Collins has 8.3 points in each game but has produced a few double digit games this year.

However, the Bulls are only getting about 59 points in each game. None of the players on the Bulls are getting more than ten points in a game on average. This puts the Bulls in the bottom fifty in the Division I ranks for points scored in each game.

Notre Dame is the favorite for the game but not by too much. Notre Dame is a -3 favorite with a -105 payout. South Florida has a -115 payout for a +3 bet. The moneyline for the Irish is -145 while it is +125 for the Bulls. The over/under is only listed at 108. This is expected to be a low-scoring game but it will be one to watch for tonight at Madison Square Garden. This will prove to be a tight game between the two teams.
