Bet on the NBAThe Cleveland Cavaliers lost in the NBA finals to the Golden State Warriors and have questions surrounding the team's coaching staff. Much of this comes from concerns over whether or not star player LeBron James and coach Dave Blatt are actually getting along.
Even with these concerns in mind, the Cavaliers are still the odds-on favorites to win the 2015-16 NBA title. The Cavs have 11-4 NBA betting odds to win while the Warriors are only at 7-2 as the second-best team to win this year. There are plenty of interesting reasons as to why the Cavs are on top of the lines this year.
Would You Bet Against LeBron?
Naturally, there is the talk about LeBron James and how he's the most dominant player in the NBA. James had 25.3 points per game and six rebounds per game last year. He also led the team in assists and steals. James has been heavily relied upon through the season as the team's big stud. In today's star-heavy NBA, he is clearly the biggest one of all, thus making it easier for him to be considered as a favorite to win major championships.
A Good Sense Of Support
LeBron has plenty of good players to go alongside him in Cleveland as well. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are both expected to be big names for the Cavs next year. Timofey Mozgov may both become more important as the team's big center in the future.
The Rise Of a Star
Matthew Dellavedova may also be a big star in the future. The Australian guard had a bigger presence in the postseason and has even been trusted as a strong starter for the Cavs. The potential for him to be a bigger player for the team in the future will certainly be a point to explore although the exact points on how he will play for the team and his future role are uncertain.
These are all great points as to why the Cavaliers are favorites for 2015-16. In fact, considering the talent on this team, they could still be favorites even if Dave Blatt wasn't there.
