Bet on the NBAIts game number two tonight at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. The Spurs will tip it off against the Utah Jazz at 7:00ET and you can watch the game as the first part of a TNT doubleheader followed by the Clippers and Grizzlies.
The mood should be celebratory for Spurs coach Paul Popovich who was named coach of the year for the second time in his illustrious career. He has done a good job this year of working in younger players while maintaining his veteran core of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobelli.
The game one win on Sunday was a welcome one for San Antonio, given they had lost the previous six opening games in playoff series. Five years have gone by since the last Spurs championship celebration, but this could be another one as they look strong coming off tying the Chicago Bulls for the NBA's best record this regular season.
On Sunday, veterans Tony Parker and Tim Duncan were in championship online betting form with Parker leading the way with 28 points and 8 assists in the 106-91 game one San Antonio victory. Duncan had 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Spurs were on cruise control most of the contest. This was their eleventh straight win after closing out the regular schedule with ten in a row.
The Jazz had a good ending to the regular season themselves, winning the last five to make it to the postseason, but they may not have enough gas left in the tank to contend with a team like the Spurs. Utah could'nt generate any offense other than from their frontcourt of Al Jefferson, Gorden Hayward and Paul Millsap who scored 53 points as a trio. No other Jazz could break through to double digits.
San Antonio is a prohibitive 11.5 point home favorite in game two tonight if you are willing to wager $110 to win $100. Another $110 will be needed to bet the over/under of 204 total points.
