Bet on the NBAOrlando, Florida is normally known in basketball circles as home to Superman himself, Dwight Howard.

At the NBA All Star game on Sunday night, February 26th, he will be joined at Amway Arena with an array of other NBA players who have a tendency to display super powers of their own.
Lebron James leads the Eastern Conference as they matchup against Kevin Durant and the Western Conference squad at 7:30pm EST.

As usual, the game will be broadcast on TNT nationally.

Besides James, the East will feature two Chicago natives at guard. Derrick Rose of the Bulls and Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat. Rose comes into this contest averaging 23.1 points and 7.7 assists. Wade is at 20.3 points.

LeBron and Carmelo Anthony will be at forward. " Melo" is nursing a groin injury, but as of this writing is expected to play. At center for the east? The aforementioned hometown favorite, Dwight Howard.

The West is lead by perennial all star Kobe Bryant who is putting up 30 points a game for a somewhat under acheiving group of L.A. Lakers. He is joined at guard by his crosstown rival in L.A., Chris Paul, traded this year to the Clippers by the Hornets. At forward will be Durant who is starring for the anything but, under achieving, Oklahoma City Thunder as they are tied with Miami for the leagues best record at the break. He is joined by Blake Griffin, he who dunks over cars, as evidenced at last years dunk contest. Andrew Bynum rounds out the West at center with 16.5 points and 12.1 rebounds so far this year.

Since in this game defense is a dirty word, the over/under is set at 283.5. This contest commonly has each team scoring 140 to 150 points a piece. But you will have to lay $110 to win $100. You will have to put down the same $110 and give 3 points to the Western Conference if you pick the Eastern All Stars to win.

How about a nice prop bet as to who will be named the games MVP? The "odds on" favorite is LeBron James at 13/2, with Kevin Durant not far behind at 7/1. Don't count out Orlando's own Dwight Howard or that irrepressible senior member of the group, Kobe Bryant with both players sitting at 15/2.
