Bet on the NBAThe Atlanta Hawks will be traveling to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a game with the Indian Pacers on Tuesday.

The Pacers are fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 23-13 record while the Hawks are sixth with a 22-15 record. The two teams are 1-1 against each other so far this year.

The Atlanta Hawks are coming off of a 97-90 win over Oklahoma City this past Saturday. The team is led by Josh Smith and Joe Johnson, two players who have been playing at least 35 minutes a game this year. Smith is very close to averaging a double-double for the year. He has 16.6 points per game and 9.9 rebounds in each game. Johnson is getting close to 18 points in each game.

However, the Hawks have one of the weakest offensive totals in the NBA. They are twenty-third in the NBA with an average of 93.3 points scored in each game. This is in spite of being in a division with the likes of the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Bobcats.

The Indiana Pacers had a six game winning streak but snapped it this past Monday in a 92-72 loss to Chicago. Also, the Pacers are right in the middle of the NBA with an average total of 95.2 points scored in each game.

Danny Granger currently leads the Pacers with 18.1 points per game. However, Roy Hibbert is nearing double-double status with 13.1 points and 9.6 rebounds in each game. There are three other players who are getting at least 10 points per game.

The Indiana Pacers are strong favorites in the sportsbook for the game because they are at home. This is in spite of the two teams being as close to each other as they are in the standings. The Pacers are a -6.5 favorite for the game. The over/under on the game is 183. This game is in favor of the Pacers but it is expected to be a relatively close game for people to bet on.
